Jackie Mason cleaning a cup with a razor
Bennington Pottery, an old established firm, has a self guided tour through its plant. There is a velvet rope which prevents you from going beyond a certain point. However, I called to one of the workers who beckoned me to come in to the work area where I met Jackie Mason cleaning off a clay piece with a razor before it went to the furnace. I took her picture with the light on her beautiful whiter hair with the row of pots behind her. We also had a very pleasant conversation. She was a lovely lady.
