Every creature is part of nature. Some are more honored than others by humans, but they are all interesting. One day, while hiking down a mountain trail, I saw a creature on the trail. He/she was a fine looking slug I named George. George wasn’t bothering anyone and seemed totally content resting on the dirt path. As I was admiring him, a mother with two young children came trotting down the trail. “Be careful of the slug,” I shouted. The mother walked carefully around George, as did her daughter. But her son triumphantly stepped on George squashing him into wet pulp. Why?
I saw this fellow slowly climbing around in my garden. I looked him up and read not to touch him. The hairs are poisonous.
Look at this photo and what do you see” It’s a Dragon Fly of course but is it two dragon flies mating? What do you think?
