Here is a photo I took a short time ago. I like it quite a lot. It was taken while driving back from Willmington early one morning on Fuller Hill road.
A couple of weeks ago as I turned a corner on a highway there was a large gathering of birds on the road. I thought they were turkeys but they turned out to be geese. They were in no hurry to move. But the ones I was able to photograph were in a neighboring field. There is plenty of space for them in Vermont and I enjoy seeing them.
These photos can be found in my Vermont portfolio.
Along the garden path on my hike is one particular butterfly plant, the only kind that Monarch Butterflies use to deposit their larva. I thought you might be interested in seeing them together.
